Proposed deletion of Mary Webb (artist)
[edit]The article Mary Webb (artist) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. NottNott|talk 20:57, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Contemporary British Painting, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Can you explain how an organization can be considered a living person? It should be obvious that an organization is not a person Cmr08 (talk) 03:40, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hi there, it's no problem at all, helping each other and working together is what Wikipedia is all about. I know you're only new here, which is why I left the message. If you make some mistakes, it's no big deal, I'm here 8 years and still make them all the time. If another editor fixes something in an edit you made, just look at what changes are being made and you will catch on pretty quick. As for the categories, they can be tricky at times, because a lot of categories are subsections of other categories and those subsections are probably subsections of other categories, etc. Sounds confusing and leads to duplicate categories, but don't worry, if there's duplicates, I'm sure other editors would cleanup. You have created some interesting articles here, I hope you continue. Cmr08 (talk) 10:53, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Ipingalex. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Amanda Ansell, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Dom from Paris (talk) 17:12, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- Just a quick word about my conflict of interest message. The main thing that worries me is the photo that you posted of Amanda Ansell you claim is your own work and it was clearly a photo taken in a private location and was posed or at least arranged. This shows that she is an acquaintance of some kind which means that there is most probably a conflict of interest. Dom from Paris (talk) 20:50, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- I've had a quick look through some of the other photos and this is not the only one that you have taken of a subject of one of your article creations. Dom from Paris (talk) 21:05, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
